Health + Safety – Water safety, emergencies, and what to know before you launch.
Cold Water Safety – Lake Ontario stays cold well into early summer and again in the fall, even on warm days. Check the weather page for current conditions. In an emergency, dial 911.
Seasonal Operations & Winter Access – OHSF and its member clubs are not operated for winter use. Programs, supervision, and on-site services are not provided during the winter season, and access to club property during that time is at your own risk.

Governance & Organizational Structure
OHSF is an association of eight independent, non-profit sailing clubs which include two youth camps. OHSF holds the lease for five sailing club sites on City of Toronto property. Each member club operates as a volunteer-driven organization within the broader federation.

Organizational Identification
The Outer Harbour Sailing Federation (OHSF) is independent of PortsToronto’s Outer Harbour Marina (OHM), a similarly named facility located across the harbour. OHSF and OHM are separate organizations.
