Water temperatures around Toronto are typically only 5–10°C this time of year. In cold water, incapacitation can happen within minutes after a capsize.

For spring dinghy sailing:
✔️ Wear a wetsuit or drysuit
✔️ Keep your PFD on
✔️ Dress for the water, not the air
