75 kids booked. New coachboat and sailboat approved! Staff safety ratios were set at 6:1 for WetFeet and 8:1 for Cansail 3/4. Setup delays were resolved. Thanks for your support! 🌟
Unwin Avenue Vehicular Bridge will be closed July 25 – July 28 for repairs. The Ship Channel Bridge on Cherry Street will be open during this time. It is expected that Repair Period 1 on the Ship Channel Bridge will be completed on July 24, and Repair Period 2 take place between July 25 and August 25. Is the Channel Bridge Open?
Tuesday's rain storm delivered a month's rain in 3 hours, capping off a wet 7 days. It may have been Toronto's third “100-year storm” since 2013. It caused flooding in the Don Valley, the Portlands, and many areas in Toronto. It's recommended to not swim for two days after a big storm due to E. coli levels. Cherry Beach, usually a Blue Flag beach, was unsafe to swim on Wednesday.
