Unwin Road Resurfacing
Road resurfacing begins May 25 on Unwin Ave, from 20m west of the bridge to Cherry St.
Work runs until July 17 and includes asphalt removal, base repairs, and repaving.
One lane will remain open with traffic control on site. Some overnight paving may occur to reduce delays.
Unwin Bridge
In May 2025, the City of Toronto endorsed replacing the current single-lane Unwin Avenue Bailey bridge with a two-lane modular bridge, but the detailed design stage is still where the schedule will be set. The actual construction timing remains to be determined.
