Notice: Film Production on June 5
OHSF has received notice of filming activities for the independent feature film Fiona, scheduled to take place at Cherry Beach and Regatta Road on Friday, June 5.
The anticipated impact to Outer Harbour users will be between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Regatta Road. During this time, a vehicle-mounted camera will be filming a travelling shot from the east end of Regatta Road to Unwin Avenue. Brief intermittent traffic stoppages may occur on Regatta Road and at the Martin Goodman Trail crossing while filming is underway.
According to the production team, delays are expected to be short, with traffic released immediately following each take.
Additional filming activities will take place at Cherry Beach throughout the day and evening, including beach and waterfront scenes. Production vehicles and equipment will be staged in the east side of the Cherry Beach parking lot.
The production is operating under permits issued by the City of Toronto Film, Television and Digital Media Office, with traffic control supervised by the Toronto Police Service.
