Three girls on blue sailboat

Smooth season opener at our sailing camp

Our Sailing Camp team called it the smoothest first day the Outer Harbour has ever seen. That’s a big statement for a program with this much history, and it says a lot about the people behind it.

The operations crew handled a full day of curveballs with real professionalism, working together to keep things running without a hitch. A few highlights from day one:

  • Our Wetfeet sailors (ages 6-10) were itching to get back on the water, a great sign for a group that’s often the hardest to win over early in the season.
  • Parents were already asking about signing up for additional weeks, a vote of confidence before camp had even really started.
  • Our Justice and Broad Reach youth sailors showed up enthusiastic and motivated, ready to put in the work toward their next levels.

It’s the kind of opening day that sets the tone for the whole summer. We’re excited for what’s ahead and are grateful to Jack, Nilu, Alex, the instructors, and the community of sailors across the Federation who make it possible.
