“We will be getting started at the south end of Regatta Road. If you would like to paddle, Don’t Mess With The Don is holding a shore and water-based litter removal at the same time.“

Don’t Mess With The Don (DMWTD) will also be doing near shore and water based litter removal on these days.
If anyone is interested in joining the DMWTD – meet them at their paddling hub with your own boat at 10am or just a bit earlier
The next Mega Clean will be September 19th.
Cherry Beach Nature Stewards regular schedule is Wednesday and Saturday mornings 9 to 11:30am from April thru early November and on Mondays 6 – 8pm in the summer (except holiday weekends).

In 2025 we hosted 106 stewarding sessions, had almost 1500 volunteer hours.
Collected 114 bags of litter and 150 bags of invasive plant parts.
Target plants with most sessions: Buckthorn, Dog Strangling Vine, Dog Strangling Vine, Garlic Mustard, Japanese Knotweed
