Game day is Tuesday, August 20 at 7:07 pm. Tickets are $25 each, non-refundable. Tickets can be purchased by sending e-transfer to Sandra: social@westwoodsailing.ca. Deadline for purchase is August 12, 2024. Please include your full name, which club you are a member at, and your email in the e-transfer details as the tickets will be transferred electronically. Expect a mouthwatering BBQ with options like BBQ baby back ribs, chicken breast, or vegan portobello mushrooms, sides, and dessert. Participation costs $100 per boat, covering dinner and entry to the party. For those joining just for the dinner and festivities, there's an early bird rate of $35 if paid by 10 p.m. on July 13, or $45 at full price. Don't miss out on this unforgettable summer celebration!

The east bridge by the dragon boaters will be closed intermittently at night from next Wednesday evening to Friday. The Ship Channel Bridge on Cherry Street remains closed to traffic, and an update is coming. "Emergency Repair Start Date: Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 8 p.m. Expected End Date: Friday, May 31, 2024. The adjacent Martin Goodman Trail bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists."
